Enterprise research and development institutions are crucial innovative forces that help break through industrial technological bottlenecks, tackle key technical challenges, strengthen the weak links in the innovation chain, and promote vertical integration within industrial chains.
Since the beginning of this year, our city has been actively promoting the initiative of “Innovation and Deepening”. We encourage enterprises to increase their investment in research and development, enhance their capabilities in independent innovation, and strive to establish a multi-level system for enterprise technology innovation. This effort aims to provide strong impetus for the high-quality development of enterprises. In the list of key enterprise research institutions announced by the Provincial Science and Technology Department for the year 2023, our city has been selected as part of the list for 4 key enterprise research institutions, 24 provincial-level enterprise research institutions, and 95 provincial-level high-tech research and development centers. The number of selections made by our city has reached a record high.
The rapid growth in the number of corporate R&D institutions reflects the determination of our city’s enterprises to develop new technologies and create new achievements. It also demonstrates the strengthening of enterprises as key players in innovation. Zhejiang Province Innovation Center for High-end Hydraulic Equipment with Excellence in Craftsmanship (hereinafter referred to as “Innovation Center”) is affiliated with Zhejiang Innovation Hydraulic Technology Co., Ltd. It is located in the Meishan National Green Manufacturing Industrial Park in Changxing County, Zhejiang Province.
The R&D center adheres to independent innovation and is committed to deep technical development. It has obtained 66 authorized patents, including 6 invention patents. Four new products have been recognized as provincial-level new products. Two products have passed international quality assessments, achieving international advanced levels. As a key contributing unit, the center has participated in the formulation of two national standards. In addition, as a platform for developing intelligent equipment for high-end hydraulic cylinders, the R&D center has established a collaborative platform between universities and research institutions, thereby creating a joint laboratory for high-end hydraulic cylinders.
